Actress and model Megan Fox grew up in a very poor household. Of Irish, French, and Native American descent, Fox grew up to be a very beautiful young woman. Fox started her modeling career in 1999 after winning various awards in the American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Two years later, she became an actress, casted in the movie Holiday in the Sun, which starred the Olsen twins Mary-Kate and Ashley.

Aside from modeling and acting, Megan Fox is a skilled dancer and an excellent swimmer as well, having trained in dancing at the young age of 5 and having joined her high school swimming team.

Fox appeared in several TV shows and starred with Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. But her biggest break came when she was casted opposite Shia LaBeouf in the box office-breaking Transformers.

In a Transformers promotional interview with Jimmy Kimmel on the ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was aired on June 8, 2007, Jimmy candidly asked Fox how she planned to make it to the top 10 of the Hot 100 Women the following year, after being named the 18th hottest at the time of the interview. Fox confidently answered that Transformers will do it for her.

Fox further disclosed that she was born in Tennessee but was raised in Florida and that she has a sister who is more stunning and beautiful than her. Kimmel asked Megan Fox jokingly to bring her sister the next time she comes to the show. Aside from that, Fox is a former big fan of Dorothy from the movie The Wizard of Oz. As a child, Fox used to wear a Dorothy outfit everyday (except on church days) for a year. Fox was so passionate about the movie that she wanted her friends to call her Dorothy rather than her name Megan.

Megan Fox is also very much into tattoos. She has the face of Marilyn Monroe etched on her right forearm. On the left forearm, she has a tribally-designed wave tattoo, which Kimmel saw as the video game character Pac-man. At the upper left portion of her back, she has a line from a Shakespearean play that says, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.” There are several others: a symbol of strength on her neck, a poem under her ribcage, and the name of her ex-boyfriend, actor Brian Austin Green, on the hip area.

Megan Fox is slated to appear in two movies for 2008: How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, starring alongside Jeff Bridges and Kirsten Dunst; and Whore, where she plays a washed-up pornographic actress trying to make a comeback. She stars opposite young Thomas Dekker. Fox is also casted in Diablo Cody’s Jennifer’s Body, with Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody. The said movie is set to be released in 2009. She is also one of the stars that will reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel of the Transformers, also in 2009.

During the filming of Transformers sequel, Megan Fox was forced to gain 10 lbs of weight. She lost the said weight while filming Diablo Cody’s Jennifer’s Body.
