Thirty-year old Canadian Sean Avery was born on the 10th of April 1980 in Pickering, Ontario. This professional ice hockey player serves as the left winger for the National Hockey League’s New York Rangers.

Sean Avery was a former player for the Los Angeles Kings, the Detroit Red Wings and the Dallas Stars. Before joining the National Hockey League, he was with the Ontario Hockey League, playing for the Kingston Frontenacs and the Owen Sound Platers.

From 2003 to 2004, Sean Avery played more than 70 games for the Los Angeles Kings. For those games, Sean Avery scored nine goals and 19 assists. In February 2007, Sean Avery joined the New York Rangers and helped the team complete a 17-4-6 end-of-season run in order to qualify for the playoffs. However, after going through an arthroscopic surgery on his left wrist in November of that same year, Sean Avery was not able to play on the ice until the New York Rangers’ game against the Ottawa Senators in December.

In February 2008, Sean Avery’s seventh goal of the season made him the Ranger with the fastest goal scored at home ice. Unfortunately though, Sean Avery was brought to the hospital to fix his lacerated spleen in April 2008, right after a game against the Penguins.

After he was released from St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Sean Avery decided to spend the summer off-season as an intern at Vogue magazine. In addition to his status as a successful ice hockey player, one fashion report claims that Sean Avery is indeed a self-confessed clotheshorse. Thus, his inclination towards fashion led him to enter into a partnership with former Calvin Klein celebrity services director, Lauryn Flynn. In 2009, he worked with Commonwealth Utilities and presented a clothing line for the New York Fashion Week.
