Actress and producer Trudie Styler was born on January 6, 1954 in Worcestershire, England. She is the wife of famous musician Sting. The couple stayed together for ten years before they were married on August 20, 1992. Trudie Styler is the mother of Sting’s four children namely, Bridget Michael, Jake, Eliot Paulina, and Giacomo Luke. She and her family maintain several residences in Wiltshire, England; Lake District, New York; California; Italy; and London.
As a young girl, Trudie Styler was a student of the North Bromsgrove High School in England. After graduation, she attended the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and appeared in several BBC productions, including one that came out in 1977 entitled Poldark.
Trudie Styler was the executive producer of several of Guy Ritchie’s films, including Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. In the mid-90s, Trudie Styler founded her own production company, Xingu Films. The company, which was allegedly established to support small and unfashionable projects, has backed several films including A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. In 2008, the production company revealed its support for an upcoming graphic novel entitled American Reaper. The novel’s original author, Pat Mills, will also serve as the screenplay writer.
Trudie Styler has produced more than a few films from 1993 to 2009. From 2000 to 2009, she has produced Greenfingers, The Sweatbox, Cheeky, Alpha Male and Moon. Prior to these films, Trudie Styler also produced Gentlemen Don’t Eat Poets, Moving the Mountain, and Boys from Brazil.
Apart from being a producer, Trudie Styler has also directed a few movies and was cast in several films including Living Proof, The Vicar of Dibley, Love Soup, Me Without You, The Scold’s Bridle, and The Mayor of Casterbridge among others. In addition to her career in the entertainment industry, Trudie Styler is also involved in a few charitable initiatives. In 2008, she was reported to have donated a substantial amount to the Ama Sumani cancer fund.
